The Calicut Oncology Club (COC) was established with a singular vision: to create a seamless, collaborative network of oncology specialists across the Malabar region. By uniting experts from various sub-specialties, we ensure that state-of-the-art cancer protocols and research are accessible to all healthcare providers and patients.

We actively collaborate with leading academic medical centers and tertiary cancer institutes in Kozhikode—including Govt. Medical College Kozhikode, MVR Cancer Centre & Research Institute, Aster MIMS, Baby Memorial Hospital, and Meitra Hospital—to promote high-level academic discussions, clinical trials, and comprehensive public oncology awareness.

Who is eligible to join the Calicut Oncology Club?
Membership is open to qualified Medical Oncologists (DM/DNB), Surgical Oncologists (MCh/DNB), Radiation Oncologists (MD/DNB), Pediatric Oncologists, and Hemato-Oncologists who are currently practicing in Kerala or have professional ties to the Malabar region.
How frequently are the clinical club meetings conducted?
We host monthly clinical club meetings, typically on the second or third Wednesday of the evening. Additionally, we conduct annual flagship conferences like the Malabar Oncology Conclave and specialized postgraduate masterclasses throughout the year.
How can my hospital or pharmaceutical company sponsor an academic CME?
We welcome academic partnerships and unrestricted educational grants that align with our scientific mission. Interested organizations can reach out to the Secretary or Treasurer via our official contact form to discuss available sponsorship packages and CME slot availability.
Can postgraduate residents and oncology fellows attend COC events?
